Parliament of Uganda
The Parliament of Uganda is the legislative body of the Republic of Uganda, responsible for making laws and overseeing the government. It consists of two chambers: the House of Representatives and the Senate. Members are elected by the public and serve to represent the interests of their constituents.
Parliament meets at the Parliament House in Kampala, the capital city. It plays a crucial role in shaping national policies, approving budgets, and holding the government accountable. The Speaker of Parliament leads the sessions and ensures that parliamentary procedures are followed.
