Paraguayan Elections
Paraguayan elections are held every five years to choose the President, members of the National Congress, and local authorities. The electoral process is overseen by the Tribunal Superior de Justicia Electoral, ensuring fair and transparent voting. Citizens aged 18 and older are eligible to vote, and participation is mandatory.
The most recent presidential election took place in April 2023, where candidates from various political parties competed for the presidency. The Colorado Party has historically been a dominant force in Paraguayan politics, but other parties, such as the Liberal Party, also play significant roles in shaping the country's governance.
