Paraguayan General Election
The Paraguayan General Election is held every five years to elect the President, members of the National Congress, and other local officials. Voters participate in a democratic process to choose their leaders, with the elections typically taking place in April.
In the elections, the President serves a five-year term and cannot be re-elected consecutively. The National Congress consists of the Chamber of Senators and the Chamber of Deputies, where representatives are also elected to create laws and govern the country.
