Pancasila
Pancasila is the foundational philosophical theory of Indonesia, consisting of five principles that guide the nation. These principles are: belief in one God, just and civilized humanity, the unity of Indonesia, democracy guided by the inner wisdom of deliberation, and social justice for all Indonesians.
Established in 1945, Pancasila serves as the ideological basis for the Indonesian state and reflects the diverse culture and values of its people. It aims to promote harmony and unity among the various ethnic and religious groups within the country, ensuring that all citizens can coexist peacefully.
