Palmen
Palmen, or palms, are a type of tree belonging to the family Arecaceae. They are characterized by their long, slender trunks and large, fan-shaped or feather-like leaves. Palms are commonly found in tropical and subtropical regions, where they thrive in warm climates. There are over 2,500 species of palms, including well-known varieties like the coconut palm and date palm.
These trees play a significant role in their ecosystems, providing habitat and food for various wildlife. Additionally, palms are economically important; their products, such as coconut oil and palm sugar, are widely used in cooking and industry.
