Palestinian Groups
Palestinian groups refer to various organizations and factions that represent the interests and aspirations of the Palestinian people. The most prominent among these are Fatah, which is known for its political leadership and governance in the West Bank, and Hamas, which governs the Gaza Strip and is recognized for its militant stance. These groups have different ideologies and approaches to achieving Palestinian statehood.
In addition to Fatah and Hamas, there are other smaller factions, such as Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). These groups often have varying goals, ranging from armed resistance to political negotiation, reflecting the diverse perspectives within the Palestinian community.
