The Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, also known as the Square Colosseum, is an iconic building located in the Eur district of Rome, Italy. Designed by architects Giovanni Guerrini, Ettore Rossi, and Mario Romano, it was constructed between 1938 and 1943 as part of the 1942 World Exhibition, which was ultimately canceled due to World War II. The building features a distinctive neoclassical style with a façade adorned by 216 arches.
Today, the Palazzo serves as the headquarters for the fashion brand Fendi and is a symbol of Italian rationalism. Its striking architecture and historical significance make it a popular site for both tourists and locals. The building is often associated with the Fascist regime, reflecting the era's ambitions and ideologies.
