Palacio de Versailles
The Palacio de Versailles, or Palace of Versailles, is a historic royal residence located just outside of Paris, France. Originally a hunting lodge for King Louis XIII, it was transformed and expanded by his son, King Louis XIV, in the 17th century. The palace is renowned for its opulent architecture, beautiful gardens, and significant role in French history.
The palace features the famous Hall of Mirrors, where the Treaty of Versailles was signed in 1919, ending World War I. Today, the Palacio de Versailles is a UNESCO World Heritage site and attracts millions of visitors each year, showcasing the grandeur of the French monarchy.
