Paja Jovanović
Paja Jovanović was a prominent Serbian painter born on July 16, 1859, in the village of Dublje, near Valjevo. He is best known for his historical and genre paintings, which often depict scenes from Serbian history and folklore. Jovanović studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and later became a member of the Vienna Secession.
