Pacaya Volcano
Pacaya Volcano is an active stratovolcano located in Guatemala, about 30 kilometers south of the capital, Guatemala City. It rises to an elevation of 2,552 meters (8,373 feet) and is part of the Central American Volcanic Arc. The volcano has erupted frequently since the 1960s, making it one of the most active volcanoes in the region.
