PNS
The Peripheral Nervous System, or PNS, is a part of the nervous system that connects the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body. It consists of nerves and ganglia that transmit signals between the central nervous system and limbs, organs, and skin. The PNS plays a crucial role in controlling voluntary movements and relaying sensory information.
The PNS is divided into two main parts: the somatic nervous system, which manages voluntary actions like muscle movements, and the autonomic nervous system, which regulates involuntary functions such as heart rate and digestion. Together, these components help maintain communication throughout the body.
