Otomi
The Otomi are an indigenous people primarily located in central Mexico, particularly in the states of Hidalgo, Mexico, and Puebla. They have a rich cultural heritage, including traditional clothing, music, and crafts. The Otomi language belongs to the Oto-Manguean language family, and many Otomi people still speak it today.
Historically, the Otomi have been known for their agricultural practices, cultivating crops like maize and beans. They also have a strong connection to their ancestral lands and often engage in community-based activities to preserve their traditions and promote their rights within the broader Mexican society.
