Osage people
The Osage people are a Native American tribe originally from the Ohio Valley, later migrating to the Great Plains. They are known for their rich cultural heritage, including traditional crafts, music, and dance. Historically, the Osage were skilled hunters and traders, relying on the bison for sustenance and materials.
In the 19th century, the Osage Nation was forced to relocate to present-day Oklahoma. The tribe gained wealth in the early 20th century due to oil discovered on their land. Today, the Osage people continue to preserve their traditions while engaging in modern economic and cultural initiatives.
