Origins of Humanity
The origins of humanity trace back to Africa, where early hominins, such as Australopithecus, emerged around 4 million years ago. These early ancestors gradually evolved, leading to the appearance of Homo habilis and later Homo erectus, who developed tools and migrated out of Africa.
Around 300,000 years ago, Homo sapiens appeared, characterized by advanced cognitive abilities and social structures. This species spread across the globe, adapting to various environments and eventually leading to the diverse cultures and societies we see today. The study of fossils and genetics continues to provide insights into this complex journey.
