Oregon State Legislature
The Oregon State Legislature is the legislative body of the state of Oregon. It consists of two chambers: the Oregon House of Representatives and the Oregon Senate. The legislature meets annually in Salem, the state capital, to discuss and pass laws, create budgets, and address various issues affecting the state.
Members of the Oregon House serve two-year terms, while Oregon Senators serve four-year terms. The legislature plays a crucial role in shaping state policies and laws, representing the interests of Oregonians, and ensuring that the state's government functions effectively.
