Oregon Senate
The Oregon Senate is the upper chamber of the Oregon Legislative Assembly, which is responsible for making state laws. It consists of 30 members who are elected to four-year terms. Senators represent various districts across the state and work on a range of issues, including education, healthcare, and public safety.
The Senate operates alongside the Oregon House of Representatives, which is the lower chamber. Together, they create and pass legislation that affects the lives of Oregonians. The Senate also plays a role in confirming appointments made by the governor and overseeing state budgets.
