Oregon State Senate
The Oregon State Senate is the upper chamber of the Oregon Legislative Assembly, which is responsible for making state laws. It consists of 30 members who are elected to four-year terms. Senators represent specific districts across the state and work on various issues, including education, healthcare, and public safety.
The Senate operates alongside the Oregon House of Representatives, which is the lower chamber. Together, they create and pass legislation, approve budgets, and address the needs of Oregonians. The Senate also plays a role in confirming appointments made by the Governor of Oregon.
