Ordoño II
Ordoño II was a king of León who reigned from 914 to 924 AD. He was the son of Ramiro II and succeeded his brother, Alfonso IV. His reign was marked by efforts to consolidate power and defend his kingdom against Muslim incursions.
During his rule, Ordoño II focused on strengthening the Christian territories in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula. He is known for his military campaigns and for promoting the growth of the city of León as a cultural and political center. His reign contributed to the development of the Kingdom of León in the early Middle Ages.
