Operation Zarb-e-Azb
Operation Zarb-e-Azb is a military offensive launched by the Pakistan Armed Forces in June 2014. Its primary objective was to eliminate terrorist groups operating in the North Waziristan Agency, a region known for its insurgent activities. The operation aimed to restore peace and stability in the area, which had been plagued by violence and extremism.
The operation involved ground and aerial assaults against various militant factions, including the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). It also focused on securing the borders and preventing the resurgence of terrorism. By the end of the operation, significant gains were made in reducing militant influence and improving security in the region.
