Operation New Dawn
"Operation New Dawn" was a military operation conducted by the United States in Iraq that began on September 1, 2010. It marked the transition from combat operations to a focus on stability and support for the Iraqi government and security forces. This operation aimed to assist in the development of a self-sufficient Iraqi state following the withdrawal of combat troops.
The operation officially ended on December 15, 2011, when the last U.S. troops left Iraq. It was part of a broader strategy to promote peace and security in the region while fostering cooperation between the U.S. and Iraq.
