Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a wildlife conservancy located in central Kenya, near the foothills of the Aberdare Mountains. It spans over 90,000 acres and is home to a diverse range of animals, including the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros. The conservancy is known for its efforts in wildlife conservation and habitat preservation.
Established in 2004, Ol Pejeta also plays a crucial role in protecting endangered species, particularly the Northern White Rhinoceros. The conservancy offers various activities, such as guided safaris and educational programs, to promote awareness and support for wildlife conservation efforts in the region.
