Nupe people
The Nupe people are an ethnic group primarily found in central Nigeria, particularly in the Niger State. They are known for their rich cultural heritage, which includes traditional music, dance, and art. The Nupe language, part of the Niger-Congo family, is widely spoken among the community.
Historically, the Nupe people were organized into a kingdom known as the Nupe Kingdom, which played a significant role in regional trade and politics. Today, they continue to maintain their cultural practices while also engaging in modern economic activities, contributing to Nigeria's diverse cultural landscape.
