Norway spruce
The Norway spruce (Picea abies) is a coniferous tree native to Europe, known for its tall, straight trunk and conical shape. It can grow up to 50 meters (164 feet) in height and has needle-like leaves that are dark green. The tree produces cylindrical cones that hang downwards and can be up to 20 centimeters (8 inches) long.
This species thrives in cool, temperate climates and is commonly found in mountainous regions. The Norway spruce is valued for its wood, which is used in construction, paper production, and musical instruments, making it an important resource in forestry and industry.
