Blue Spruce
The Blue Spruce, also known as Colorado Blue Spruce, is a coniferous tree native to the Rocky Mountains of North America. It is recognized for its striking blue-green needles and symmetrical shape, making it a popular choice for landscaping and Christmas trees. The tree can grow up to 75 feet tall and has a conical form, with branches that extend horizontally.
The bark of the Blue Spruce is grayish-brown and becomes scaly as the tree matures. Its cones are cylindrical and can be 2 to 4 inches long, turning from green to brown as they mature. This tree thrives in well-drained soils and prefers full sunlight.
