The Northern Gannet is a large seabird known for its striking white plumage and long, pointed wings. These birds are primarily found along the coasts of the North Atlantic Ocean, where they nest on steep cliffs and rocky islands. They are excellent divers, capable of plunging into the water from great heights to catch fish. Northern Gannets have a wingspan of about 6.5 to 7.5 feet and can weigh between 5 to 8.5 pounds.
