North Sentinel Island
North Sentinel Island is a small island located in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. It is home to the Sentinelese, an indigenous tribe known for their isolation from the outside world. The island is approximately 59 square kilometers and is surrounded by coral reefs, making it difficult to access.
The Sentinelese are one of the last uncontacted peoples in the world, and they have resisted contact with outsiders for thousands of years. The Indian government has declared the island off-limits to protect the tribe and their way of life, ensuring their safety and preserving their culture.
