Noble Fir
Noble Fir is a species of evergreen tree native to the western United States, particularly in the Cascade Range and the Sierra Nevada. It is known for its tall, straight trunk and symmetrical shape, making it a popular choice for Christmas trees. The tree can grow up to 250 feet tall and has a lifespan of over 1,000 years.
The needles of the Noble Fir are flat, soft, and bluish-green, measuring about 1 to 1.5 inches long. Its cones are cylindrical and can grow up to 4 inches long, maturing to a light brown color. This tree is also valued for its strong wood, often used in construction and furniture making.
