Noah's Flood
The story of Noah's Flood is found in the Bible, specifically in the book of Genesis. It describes a time when God decided to flood the Earth to cleanse it of human wickedness. God chose Noah, a righteous man, to build an enormous ark to save himself, his family, and pairs of every animal species.
According to the narrative, it rained for forty days and nights, causing the waters to rise and cover the land. After the floodwaters receded, Noah and the animals left the ark, and God made a promise, symbolized by a rainbow, never to flood the Earth again.
