Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is the current Emir of Kuwait, having ascended to the throne on September 30, 2020. He was born on June 30, 1937, and is the half-brother of the late Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
