Native American reservations
Native American reservations are designated areas of land managed by Native American tribes under the U.S. federal government. These lands were established through treaties and laws, often as a result of historical conflicts and displacement of Indigenous peoples. Reservations vary in size and can be found across the United States, each with its own governance and regulations.
Tribes on reservations have the authority to create their own laws and manage resources, such as land, water, and wildlife. While reservations provide a degree of autonomy, they also face challenges, including economic development and access to services like education and healthcare.
