National Marine Park of Alonissos
The National Marine Park of Alonissos is located in the northern part of the Sporades archipelago in Greece. Established in 1992, it is the first marine park in the country and covers an area of approximately 2,200 square kilometers. The park is home to diverse marine life, including the endangered Mediterranean monk seal, making it a vital area for conservation.
