National Assembly for Wales
The National Assembly for Wales, now known as the Senedd, is the devolved parliament for Wales. It was established in 1999 to give the people of Wales a voice in their own governance. The Senedd has the power to make decisions on various issues, including health, education, and local government.
The Senedd consists of 60 elected members called MSs (Members of the Senedd). They represent different political parties and regions across Wales. The assembly meets in Cardiff Bay, where it debates legislation and discusses important matters affecting the Welsh population.
