Nasir Khusraw
Nasir Khusraw was a Persian poet, philosopher, and traveler born in 1004 CE in Balkh, present-day Afghanistan. He is best known for his literary works, particularly his epic poem, the Shahnameh, and his philosophical treatises that explore themes of ethics, spirituality, and the nature of knowledge.
In addition to his literary contributions, Khusraw undertook a significant journey known as the Safarnameh, which documented his travels across the Islamic world. His experiences and observations during this journey enriched his writings and provided insights into the cultures and societies of his time.
