Name Components
Name components refer to the individual parts that make up a person's full name. Typically, these include a given name (or first name), a middle name, and a surname (or last name). For example, in the name John Michael Smith, "John" is the given name, "Michael" is the middle name, and "Smith" is the surname.
In some cultures, names may also include additional components such as prefixes, suffixes, or patronymics. For instance, in Icelandic naming conventions, a child's surname may be derived from the father's first name, followed by "son" or "dóttir," indicating "son of" or "daughter of."
