NPTE
The NPTE, or National Physical Therapy Examination, is a standardized test that assesses the knowledge and skills of candidates seeking to become licensed physical therapists in the United States. Administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy, the exam evaluates a candidate's understanding of physical therapy concepts, patient care, and clinical decision-making.
The NPTE consists of multiple-choice questions covering various topics, including anatomy, physiology, and treatment techniques. Passing the NPTE is a crucial step for graduates of accredited physical therapy programs, as it is required for obtaining a state license to practice as a physical therapist.
