NGC 6712
NGC 6712 is a globular cluster located in the constellation Scutum. It is approximately 27,000 light-years away from Earth and is estimated to be around 12 billion years old, making it one of the older clusters in our galaxy, the Milky Way.
This cluster contains a large number of stars, with estimates suggesting it has over 100,000 members. NGC 6712 is notable for its high concentration of red giant stars and exhibits a relatively low metallicity, indicating that it formed early in the universe's history.
