NGC 2451
NGC 2451 is an open star cluster located in the constellation of Carina. It is approximately 1,200 light-years away from Earth and contains around 50 stars. The cluster is estimated to be about 100 million years old, making it relatively young in astronomical terms.
This cluster is notable for its bright stars, which are easily visible through small telescopes. NGC 2451 is often studied to understand the formation and evolution of star clusters, as well as the dynamics of stellar populations in our galaxy, the Milky Way.
