NGC 1903
NGC 1903 is a globular cluster located in the constellation Andromeda. It is approximately 50,000 light-years away from Earth and is part of the Milky Way galaxy. This cluster contains a large number of stars, estimated to be around 100,000, and is known for its relatively high metallicity compared to other globular clusters.
Discovered by William Herschel in 1786, NGC 1903 has a diameter of about 100 light-years. It is classified as a type II globular cluster, indicating a more concentrated core. Observations of NGC 1903 provide valuable insights into the formation and evolution of star clusters in the universe.
