NGC 1902
NGC 1902 is an open star cluster located in the constellation of Doradus. It was discovered by the astronomer John Herschel in 1834. This cluster is part of the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way, and is approximately 163,000 light-years away from Earth.
The cluster contains several young, hot stars that are still in the process of forming. NGC 1902 is notable for its relatively high concentration of stars, which makes it an interesting target for astronomers studying stellar evolution and the dynamics of star clusters in different environments.
