NGC 1883
NGC 1883 is an open star cluster located in the constellation of Pictor. It was discovered by the astronomer John Herschel in 1834 and is approximately 5,000 light-years away from Earth. The cluster contains several hundred stars, many of which are relatively young and bright.
The stars in NGC 1883 are thought to be around 100 million years old. This cluster is part of a larger group of stars and is often studied to understand stellar formation and evolution. Its position in the sky makes it a target for amateur astronomers and astrophotographers.
