Mustafa III
Mustafa III was the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1757 to 1774. He was born on January 28, 1717, and became the 26th Sultan after the death of his half-brother, Ahmed III. His reign was marked by attempts to modernize the military and administration, as well as efforts to strengthen the empire's economy.
During his rule, Mustafa III faced significant challenges, including military defeats in the Russo-Turkish War and internal strife. He was known for his interest in arts and culture, promoting various projects, including the construction of new buildings. His reign ended with his death on January 21, 1774.
