Muscle Cramping
Muscle cramping is an involuntary contraction of one or more muscles, often causing pain and discomfort. It can occur during physical activity or at rest and is commonly experienced in the legs, arms, or abdomen. Factors contributing to muscle cramps include dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, and prolonged sitting or standing.
These cramps can last from a few seconds to several minutes and may be relieved by stretching or massaging the affected area. While most muscle cramps are harmless, frequent or severe cramps may indicate underlying health issues, and consulting a healthcare professional is advisable if they persist.
