Muntadhir Al-Mahdi
Muntadhir Al-Mahdi is a significant figure in Islamic eschatology, particularly within Shia Islam. He is believed to be the twelfth and final Imam, who went into occultation in the 9th century. Followers believe that he will reappear at the end of times to bring justice and peace to the world.
The concept of Al-Mahdi is also present in Sunni Islam, though interpretations differ. While Shia Muslims view him as a divinely appointed leader, Sunni beliefs often see him as a future Muslim leader who will restore righteousness. His return is anticipated to coincide with the arrival of Jesus in the end times.
