Al-Mahdi
Al-Mahdi is a significant figure in Islamic eschatology, particularly within Shia Islam. He is believed to be the twelfth and final Imam, who is expected to reappear at the end of times to bring justice and peace to the world. His return is seen as a fulfillment of divine promise and a restoration of true Islamic governance.
In Sunni beliefs, Al-Mahdi is also recognized as a messianic figure, though interpretations vary. He is expected to emerge during a time of great turmoil and will lead the Muslim community, uniting them against oppression. His arrival is associated with the second coming of Jesus in some traditions.
