2008 Mumbai Attacks
The 2008 Mumbai Attacks were a series of coordinated terrorist attacks that took place in Mumbai, India, from November 26 to November 29, 2008. The attacks were carried out by ten members of the militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba, who targeted multiple locations, including the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Leopold Cafe, and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
The assaults resulted in the deaths of 166 people, including foreign nationals, and injured over 300 others. The attacks highlighted vulnerabilities in India's security and led to significant changes in counter-terrorism policies and measures across the country.
