Muhammad Buhari
Muhammad Buhari is a Nigerian politician and retired Major General in the Nigerian Army. He served as the President of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023. Buhari first came to power in 1983 through a military coup but was overthrown the following year. After years in opposition, he returned to politics and won the presidential election in 2015.
During his presidency, Buhari focused on anti-corruption efforts, economic reforms, and security challenges, particularly related to the Boko Haram insurgency. His administration faced criticism for its handling of the economy and human rights issues, but he remained a significant figure in Nigerian politics.
