Mount Kailash is a sacred peak located in the Tibetan Plateau of Tibet, standing at 6,638 meters (21,778 feet) tall. It is considered one of the most important spiritual sites in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon, attracting thousands of pilgrims each year. The mountain is known for its unique pyramid shape and is surrounded by stunning landscapes.
The region around Mount Kailash is also home to the Kailash Mansarovar Lake, which is believed to have healing properties. Pilgrims often undertake the challenging trek around the mountain, known as the Kora, which is about 52 kilometers (32 miles) long. This journey is seen as a way to attain spiritual merit and purification.
