Mount Eden
Mount Eden is a dormant volcanic cone located in Auckland, New Zealand. It stands at 196 meters (643 feet) tall and is the highest natural point in the city. The cone was formed around 28,000 years ago and features a large crater at its summit, which is about 50 meters deep.
The area surrounding Mount Eden is a popular park, offering walking trails and stunning views of the Auckland skyline and the Waitemata Harbour. It is also significant in Māori culture, known as Maungawhau, which translates to "mountain of the whau tree." The site attracts both locals and tourists for its natural beauty and historical importance.
