Moroccan Gazelle
The Moroccan Gazelle, also known as the Dorcas Gazelle, is a small antelope native to North Africa, particularly found in Morocco. This species is characterized by its slender body, long legs, and distinctive curved horns in males. They typically inhabit arid and semi-arid regions, where they rely on their agility to escape predators.
These gazelles are herbivorous, primarily feeding on grasses, leaves, and shrubs. They are well-adapted to their environment, capable of surviving with minimal water intake. Unfortunately, the Moroccan Gazelle faces threats from habitat loss and hunting, leading to a decline in their population. Conservation efforts are underway to protect this unique species.
