Addax
The Addax is a critically endangered species of antelope found primarily in the Sahara Desert. Known for its long, twisted horns and sandy-colored coat, it is well-adapted to arid environments. Addaxes are herbivores, primarily feeding on grasses and shrubs, and can survive long periods without water by obtaining moisture from their food.
These animals are social and often live in small herds. The Addax is threatened by habitat loss and hunting, leading to a significant decline in their population. Conservation efforts are underway to protect this unique species and its natural habitat in regions like North Africa.
